Women’s Round/Dog and Pony Day/Quad Header – Saturday 13th May

We can’t wait to see you all next weekend for our Women’s Round and second ‘Dog and Pony’ Day. Along with 4 brilliant games of hockey, there will be 20% off from the Snooza Pop-up Shop, prizes for the cutest pup, best behaved breed and most beautiful car!

To make the day extra special, we are proudly supporting the organisation Blessing Bags. Based on the Mornington Peninsula, Blessing Bags is a Melbourne-based initiative that assembles and distributes hygiene packs to those experiencing homelessness and/or disadvantage. The hygiene packs contain essential personal care items as well as a handwritten note of hope and positivity so that the recipient knows that they are not alone.

Blessing Bags accepts donations of travel-sized toiletries that can fit in a small zip lock bag, including unused hotel amenities.

We would love for all of our players to try and bring some products to be donated. Products that can be donated include:
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Deodorant
Soap (individually wrapped)
Shower Gel
Shampoo
Conditioner
Tissues & Facial Wipes
Muesli Bars
Cotton Buds
Sanitary Pads
Socks

There will be a donation bin at training this week and the games next weekend.
