Registration
All players must be registered to play. Registration includes both Hockey Victoria and St Bede's Hockey Club registration.
All registrations are through the revolutioniseSport system used by Hockey Victoria.
To register, please visit the following page: https://www.revolutionise.com.au/stbedeshc/registration/
Fees
Fees are due when registering and are paid through the registration portal. Fees have increased for 2024 and the committee has thought very carefully about this decision. There has been an effective fees freeze for the past several years (our fees have not meaningfully changed since before the pandemic), while costs have increased steeply over this time.
A summary of fees payable is below:

Payment Options
The club has decided to allow part payment or full payment options. Part payment covers only the HV/HA registration portion, including your player insurance. Full payment covers HV/HA fees and club fees.
If you select part payment, you will be invoiced for your club fee separately. For seniors, this is due by the commencement of round 2 (21st April 2024) of the winter season and for juniors by the commencement of round 1 of the junior season (3rd May 2024).
Players who have not paid their fees in full by the due date may be considered unfinancial and may not be selected to play until fees are paid.
9 Game Playing Packs
In special situations the club also offers fee options if a senior player has a genuine reason to believe they will play no more than 9 games in total for the entire season.
This includes all games played (not rounds played as some players play multiple games per round under the permitted double up rules), including finals. Upon playing a 10th game during the regular season, players entering into this arrangement will be invoiced the balance of the full season fees. If the 10th game is played during finals, players will not be invoiced for the balance of the full season fees, but will be invoiced a further $30 per finals round they participate.
Please contact us if you feel this describes your situation.
Payment Plans
The club offers payment plans, subject to some conditions. If you feel you need a payment plan, please approach treasurer Josh Warren or his assistant Mark Amott with your request (both can be contacted at info@stbedeshc.org.au or in person at training). Our goal is to start payment plans early, well before the start of the season. Payment plans must be fully paid by round 4 of the season at the latest.
Insurance
When you register with HV/HA as a player or official (excludes non-playing members), you are covered by an association-wide personal injury insurance policy provided by Honan Sport. To learn more please visit Honan Sport's Personal Injury Insurance page.
We strongly recommend you register promptly to obtain this cover, prior to training or playing. You will not receive this cover if you have not registered at the time of being injured.
Please note this policy does not cover all medical costs or ANY costs where a Medicare rebate applies. Please contact the committee on info@stbedeshc.org.au if you believe you may have reason to claim under this insurance policy.
