St Bede’s Hockey Club will be running it’s Registration Day for the 2017 season on Sunday 26th February from 11am at St Bede’s College (2 Mentone Pde, Mentone – parking will be accessible via the entry on Dixon St). After a successful season throughout the club last year, it would be great to see as many members there as possible to kick start the 2017 season!

The day will run from 11am to 1pm and there are a number of key aspects to the day as outlined below. A senior training session will also be run beforehand from 10am to 11am and all players are welcome to come along and attend this session.

1. New Players
- The day provides an opportunity for prospective players to ‘come and try’ hockey. There is no ongoing commitment if you wish to come down on Sunday and give it a shot!
- A free clinic for all junior players will be run on the pitch by the club’s junior coaches from 1130am – 1230pm. New players are welcome and existing players are encouraged to bring a friend along!
- This will be followed by a FREE BBQ for all!

2. Uniforms, Training Shirts and Club Gear
- For existing club members (both seniors and womens), come down and register to reserve your existing number for the 2017 season (if you don’t reserve your number on Sunday, it will be up for grabs!).
- There will be no cost to new or existing players for playing shirts as they will remain the property of the club and collected at the end of the year.
- You will also be able to finalise your uniform orders including new training shirts, tracksuit pants, polo shirts, shorts, skorts and socks.

3. Social Membership
- Our 2017 social membership will also be launched on this day.
- A chance for non-playing members to support the club and receive some pretty cool stuff in return.
- This includes membership card, credit towards club canteen, club merchandise and discounted entry to social events run throughout the year!
- Come down and sign up for a membership!

In the lead up to the day, we are hoping to finalise our sponsorship lineup for 2017 by mid-February. Sponsorship funds go directly towards items such as hockey equipment, coaching development & first aid kits.
